or rather: Why does this exist?
A few years back I've decided to pause my creative career because of severe burnout. To be completely honest it wasn't much of a choice. As creatives we are always ready to sacrifice everything we have for the goal of telling stories that matter, but in that pursuit, I think we forget
to enjoy the process.
This "end justifies the means "attitude often brings the toxic environment that ultimately burns down teams and creatives themselves. With this series, I want to bring the concept of
mindfulness
to creative work
using specific stories from working professionals. I want to hear creatives tell that one great story where they felt goosebumps during an actor's take or writing that special scene, or finding that match-cut. Whenever it happens in the process, I'm looking for
stories
of fulfillment
from the actual job.
